About Us
The Story Behind VitalLine Infusions
Hi, I'm Lachy - founder of VitalLine Infusions and a Critical Care Paramedic.
After years working in healthcare and experiencing the realities of shift work, long hours, disrupted sleep, stress and busy family life, I know how easy it is to put your own wellbeing at the bottom of the list.
I created VitalLine Infusions because I wanted to make taking time for yourself a little easier - bringing together the clinical standards and safety that have shaped my career with a more personal, approachable way of supporting wellbeing.
VitalLine Infusions provides professionally delivered IV infusion services with careful screening, clinical protocols and medical oversight at the heart of how we operate. It's not about quick fixes or miracle promises - it's about giving people another way to invest in their wellbeing, delivered with genuine care.
Because when life gets busy, sometimes we all need a reminder to put ourselves back on the list.
Read Our Story
Research-informed practice
Our protocols are built on current clinical literature for IV hydration and micronutrient therapy, and reviewed as new evidence emerges.
Screened before every visit
A health screening and clinician review confirm individual suitability before any appointment is approved.
Calm, considered care
Unhurried appointments in the comfort of your home, hotel or workplace - with hospital-grade equipment and the discretion you'd expect from a private service.
Our Standards
Safety & Clinical Governance
Client safety is the foundation of the service - documented, transparent and reviewed.
Screening & consent
Every client completes a health screening before booking is confirmed, and written informed consent is taken at the visit. Depending on your treatment, a recent blood test may be requested beforehand.
Clinician review
Each screening is reviewed by a clinician. No infusion proceeds without documented approval.
Clinical governance
Documented protocols, adverse event procedures and ongoing review - using hospital-grade consumables and infection control standards.
Why paramedic-led care?
IV therapy is only as good as the clinician holding the cannula. Paramedic-led care means your infusion is delivered by a registered health professional whose everyday work is IV access, clinical assessment and emergency response.

IV expertise, every day
Placing IV lines and administering IV medicines is core, everyday work for paramedics in New Zealand's emergency services - not an add-on skill.
Assessment, not just a drip
Paramedics are trained to assess and monitor you before, during and after the infusion - and to recognise early when something needs attention.
Prepared for the unexpected
Emergency management is our professional background. We bring monitoring equipment and follow documented adverse-event procedures at every visit.
One-to-one, unhurried care
Your appointment is one-on-one with a registered clinician from screening through post-infusion monitoring - never rushed, never handed off.

What Our Clients Say
5.07 Google reviews“During my pregnancy I ended up having really low iron. After trying many supplements that affected my stomach, I reached out to Lachlan from VitalLine infusions and he was soo helpful. The fact that he comes to your home and makes you feel so comfortable and at ease is one of the best parts. He checks on you constantly and runs you through the whole process with a calm and caring nature. My iron levels have gone up so much faster than they would with supplements and no stomach issues! 10/10 recommend 👍🏻”
“I did a Recovery infusion with Lachy and it was amazing. That night I had the best sleep I have had in a long time and the following day I was a bundle of energy. After a couple of busy and stressful weeks, this was just what I needed. I am going to do this on a regular basis to keep up my immunity and energy levels. I can't recommend this enough.”
“Such an easy process. Lachy is an absolute professional. He is empathetic, with so much experience - it was pain free. Having treatment at home is a game changer. Thanks so much!”
“Our family had a fantastic experience with Vitalline and the owner/director Lachy. My elderly grandad had a turn on a Friday and we were deeply concerned about his well-being (dehydration being an initial concern). Lachlan responded promptly to emails and DM's via social and made the time to visit us on the Saturday - whereby he conducted a full assessment and provided a recommendation on rehydration and other matters pertaining to my grand-fathers well-being. His compassion and deep experience with acute, emergency scenarios was apparent and was a huge help on the day. Providing reassurance to our family and a written summary was invaluable and we wouldn't hesitate to employ his services again. What Lachy and the team are providing is truly unique (with his background in Paramedics) and as an aside, I regularly get IV treatments in Auckland and his offerings look great, and very reasonable! Cheers Rachel & Pamella”
“This was my first iv infusion and I will definitely have it done again. Lachy was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. It was a comfortable and tailored experience. He was very accomodating with booking our session - even at the last minute! I highly recommend Vital Line IV infusions.”
“I had an iron infusion for my pregnancy and I couldn't recommend Lachy enough. Being able to do this in the comfort of my own home while my kids were sleeping was so good! Always checked on how I was feeling and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend!”

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Every client is screened and clinician-reviewed before any infusion is approved. Our registered paramedics carry appropriate emergency equipment and are trained to manage infusion reactions. As with any clinical procedure, IV therapy carries inherent risks - these are discussed at consent.
Suitability is assessed individually through our pre-infusion screening. Some conditions, medications or circumstances make IV therapy unsuitable. For health concerns, please see your GP.
Our infusions are a wellness service, not a diagnostic or treatment service for medical conditions - the exception is iron infusions, a prescription treatment provided after clinical assessment. We're a complement to, not a substitute for, your GP.
Each appointment is booked as a 90-minute window, covering set-up, the infusion and brief post-infusion monitoring. The infusion itself usually runs 30–60 minutes depending on the drip.
Your paramedic arrives with all the hospital-grade equipment needed. You'll need a comfortable spot to sit or recline. They'll explain the procedure, monitor you throughout and stay until you're cleared to resume normal activity.
No. All clients complete our screening, which a clinician reviews before booking is confirmed. Iron Restore additionally requires recent blood work confirming iron deficiency.
